मिर्गी में क्या खाना चाहिए | Ketogenic Diet for Epilepsy In today's video, Dr. Pragati Gupta will discuss the food items that are good for epilepsy patients. We will also discuss the mistakes you shouldn't commit as an epilepsy patient. So, watch the video till the end. What are the best foods for epilepsy? - Epileptic patients should opt for a ketogenic diet that is very low-carb and high-fat. The reason behind a fit might be the deficiency of sodium and potassium in the body, electrolyte imbalance, dehydration, or a sudden fall in the sugar values of a person. Trauma or any injury in the head are some external factors of a fit. Diet plays an important role in epilepsy. What food items should you add to your diet? - Unrefined Carbohydrates - Oatmeal, brown rice, pulses, or beans. High fiber foods like fruits and vegetables are also considered unrefined carbohydrates and should be eaten in epilepsy because it prevents hypoglycemia. - Vitamins and Minerals - Potassium and sodium deficiency can cause a seizure. Therefore, vitamins and minerals in the body should be present in an optimum amount. - Lean protein - Eat a lean protein diet that your body can easily digest and doesn't increase fat concentration. A lean protein diet includes eggs, fish, soybean, and milk. - Vitamin B6, Magnesium, and Calcium - Vitamin B6 is an essential nutrient for the proper functioning of the nervous system. Bananas, Avocados, and salmon fish are rich sources of Vitamin B6. Bananas, almonds, spinach, and pumpkin seeds are rich sources of magnesium, and dairy products like milk, butter, buttermilk, and curd are rich sources of calcium that provide our body strength and energy. - Sodium - An epileptic patient should intake sodium as required by the body. Salt is a rich source of sodium. High blood pressure patients shouldn't consume much salt as it triggers epileptic seizures. - Water - You should intake a wealthy amount of water as dehydration is also a major cause of epilepsy. You can also opt for coconut water. Coconut water is a rich source of sodium and electrolytes. However, a diabetic patient shouldn't drink much coconut water. Extreme Change Keto Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies Transforming Your Diet With Extreme Change Gummies
In this episode, Dr. Renee Rogers joins Dr. Lou Atkinson to explore the evolving impact of GLP-1s , not just on weight loss, but on the systems that surround it: research, muscle health, behaviour change, and stigma. They explore how the rise of GLP-1s is reshaping expectations in the fitness and wellness space , and why many current responses risk missing the mark. From resistance training prescriptions to protein pushes, there’s a gap between what’s being offered and what people actually need. Together, they discuss how new research is shifting focus from surface-level outcomes to what really matters: lived experience, muscle quality, sustainable behaviour change, and personalised long-term support. It’s a conversation about human-centred design in a market chasing quick fixes. Because people don’t just need new medications, they need new mindsets. 💡 As McKinsey noted in The $2 Trillion Global Wellness Market Gets a Millennial and Gen Z Glow-Up (May 2025), over a third of Gen Z and millennials in the US and UK say managing their weight is “very difficult.” With GLP-1s accelerating momentum, the real opportunity isn’t in the drugs , it’s in what we build around them. 📄 Don’t forget to check out our white paper for a deeper dive: Supporting the GLP-1 Consumer Beyond the Prescription. Too many GLP-1 users face stigma not only for their weight, but for choosing evidence-based medical care. In a world where even high performers are chained to their desks for 8+ hours a day, we can’t out-exercise the systems we live in. It’s time to stop blaming individuals and start designing better support. https://www.wearethecollective.world/tools-to-transform Shout Outs: Katherine Saunders, MD Chapters 00:00 Introduction to GLP-1 Agonist Medications 03:12 Renee Rogers' Journey and Background 05:50 Understanding GLP-1 Medications: History and Development 11:56 The Evolving Landscape of Obesity Treatment 14:49 Personalised Approaches to Obesity Management 17:44 Research Insights on Lifestyle Modifications 24:07 Behavioural Insights and Patient Experiences 27:57 Market Opportunities in the GLP-1 Space 31:58 Understanding Consumer Behaviour in Health Supplements 34:40 The Importance of Language in Health Claims 36:51 Shifting the Focus from Weight to Well-being 39:56 Personalisation in Health and Fitness Programs 43:13 The Role of Relevance in Behaviour Change 48:34 Exploring GLP-1 Medications and Preventive Health 55:28 Navigating the Wild West of Health Interventions 58:56 Advocating for Access and Equity in HealthcareShout Outs: Katherine Saunders, MD Chapters 00:00 Introduction to GLP-1 Agonist Medications 03:12 Renee Rogers' Journey and Background 05:50 Understanding GLP-1 Medications: History and Development 11:56 The Evolving Landscape of Obesity Treatment 14:49 Personalised Approaches to Obesity Management 17:44 Research Insights on Lifestyle Modifications 24:07 Behavioural Insights and Patient Experiences 27:57 Market Opportunities in the GLP-1 Space 31:58 Understanding Consumer Behaviour in Health Supplements 34:40 The Importance of Language in Health Claims 36:51 Shifting the Focus from Weight to Well-being 39:56 Personalisation in Health and Fitness Programs 43:13 The Role of Relevance in Behaviour Change 48:34 Exploring GLP-1 Medications and Preventive Health 55:28 Navigating the Wild West of Health Interventions 58:56 Advocating for Access and Equity in Healthcare
