I have been on the GLP one weight loss medication tirzepatide under the brand name Zepbound for over four months now. Emgality used to be $575 per month. Zepbound and Mounjaro our currently $550-$1300 could this mean that it will eventually go down in price? Of course that’s what we’re all hoping. In the meantime, yes, there are vials available at a cheaper cost than the pens, but those files are only affordable in the 2.5 mg and 5 mg doses. So it’s basically just for people starting out on the medication or those who have tapered off. I am extremely grateful this medication exists, and I am able to access it, although just barely.
