My Ozempic story After being diagnosed with two comorbidities along with a BMI that places me in the obese category, my doctor placed me on a 30-day low carb plan. I lost 14 lbs alone following that recommendation. After that time passed, I was prescribed Ozempic at my doctors suggestion. I started at .25 mg dosage weekly, and I inject in my thigh. I had minimal nausea and heartburn on my first weekly dose for noted side effects. The subsequent weeks there were no side effects to report. I am maintaining my 30 lb weight loss so far. My goal weight is first getting to my drivers license weight and then after that I hope to lose 50 lbs by summer 2023’s end. The next goal after that will be to lose 100 in total. My ultimate goal is to go off medication, restore my energy, and be able to live a quality life. My hope is this effort will offer long lasting and sustainable results.
