But having two babies, 17 months apart breast-feeding and raising them, takes a toll on our bodies! Three years later, I was ready for a big change! I’m 6.6 months in on semaglutide (glp-1) and I’m starting to titrate down while maintaining new lower weight & muscle. So far I’m at: 34lbs lost 6.5 inches lost from my abdomen and ZERO inches from my thighs 👇Here’s how I held on to my muscle 💪 ✅1. Heavy Olympic weight lifting 4x/ week I do a program called @strongerbythedayapp I’ve been doing it for 3 years and it gives me life every single day! ✅ 2. Creatine! Every. Single. Day! I get up early to work out usually around 445. That means I have to be asleep between 9 and 10 PM. Ideally closer to nine, but that doesn’t always happen when the boys go to bed around 8 PM. Prioritizing sleep, rest and recovery is so important for muscle building. ✅ 6. Don’t forget to eat! Yes, your body still needs nutrients. You have to choose the best ones to put in it. The goal here is not to starve! If you starve your muscles will disappear. You can do this! Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!
