Understanding The Semaglutide Weight Loss Chart A Detailed Guide
I avoided taking any drugs for insulin resistance for over two years. Diet and exercise were creating extremely slow results in my numbers and few results in my weight loss. I kept hitting a wall and regaining the few pounds I had lost. I was so frustrated. Thats when I researched the drug options. The GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic cause weight loss with 50-70% in loss of muscle mass. Nope, not doing that! Menupause and age make building and keeping muscle hard as it is! Metformin has been helping people avoid diabetes since 1995 in the US and was discovered 100 years ago. Metformin works well to lower hemoglobin A1C (HbA1C or A1C), or your average blood glucose levels over 3 months. I am in my 3rd month taking it and my numbers just reduced to normal. This will allow the lower carb/Mediterranean diet, weight lifting and exercise to begin working. The only way to fail is to quit and that is not an option. I either do nothing and keep gaining weight or I work at finding the best combination of food, fitness and exercise with some temporary help from metformin! I am sharing my journey and my results.
