It boils down to this: if you eat meat, you say carbs are dangerous. If youโ€™re vegan, you say animal fats and protein are dangerous. The problem is that you have two different viewpoints giving conflicting information. If youโ€™re the public trying to figure out the truth, itโ€™s very confusing. I believe the problem is the interpretation of the research. In order to read them, youโ€™d need a medical dictionary and a basic understanding of medical physiology. But most of us wouldnโ€™t do that; so, you have to rely on the interpretation of someone with a bias. You wonder: whatโ€™s the truth? In order to be certain, you need personal experience. Hereโ€™s what I suggest you do: Try being a meat-eater for a while, and see the results you get. Then try being vegan for a while, and compare your results. See which one works better for you. Which was best for weight loss, blood profiles, improvement in energy, and overall quality of health. Then youโ€™ll know with certainty what works for you, and you wonโ€™t be dependent on a third partyโ€™s viewpoint, or interpretation of a study.
